Purple butterfly bush
Purple butterfly bush picture
This purple butterfly bush is about six feet high and six feet wide and is in a full sun location and seems to do very well. We also have the Butterfly Bush called 'Pink delight' and it gets a little less than full sun and also does well. Through research we've found that you should cut back the butterfly bush six to twelve inches to the ground in early Spring. We did that to ours and it grew back better than the year before. Either way the butterflies, hummingbirds and bees love it. There are also dwarf varieties as well.
