Purple crocus picture
This purple crocus picture is from our garden. Pine needles cover the ground during the winter. As soon as the ground starts to warm, the crocus start to sprout. They're always the first or at least one of the first flowers to bloom. They signal that spring is finally here. Plant your bulbs in the fall and they'll return each year. Unfortunately, sometimes when it's windy it will knock them over. I still think they're well worth it, though. Below are a couple of recently added pictures.
